In Salon or On Location?

Wedding days can be a bit hectic, and we recognise that everyone has a different idea as to the perfect day.  This is why we offer a choice of an in-salon or on-location styling.  Visiting the salon with your bridal party can be a great experience and we’ll help create the atmosphere with a complimentary glass of bubble on arrival.  Our senior stylists will get to work on the bride’s hair and makeup, while the rest of the team pamper your bridal party and style their hair and makeup.  Generally, we’d recommend allowing about 2 -3  hours for the bride and three attendants.  A big advantage of the in-salon experience is that we are better equipped to deal with any last-minute changes, with the full suite of tools and products on hand.

We also offer a visiting service, where we can meet you at your home or another location of your choice.  A team of two of our stylists will arrive ready to get you and your bridal party looking amazing. Some brides prefer the intimacy of a special location and the convenience of not having to travel.  Generally, we’d recommend allowing 3 – 4 hours for the bride and three attendants. 

Do you do trials?

Absolutely!  We always recommend a trial for the bride, and at a minimum, we request a consultation with your bridal party so we can see their hair and avoid any surprises on the day.  We offer trials at a 30% discount on Monday to Friday.

If you have any headpieces planned for your weddings such as tiaras, flower crowns,  hair jewels or veils please bring these (or a photo if they are not available) to the trial session. 

Do you offer hair extensions?

Again absolutely.  Often brides are looking for that glamorous look of long thick hair.  Professionally applied hair extensions can help you achieve this, without the wait.  We have two different types of hair extensions available…clip-ins and tape-ins.

Clip-ins offer instant length and thickness and can be applied on the wedding day (for the day).

Tape-ins last a little longer and offer a slightly more natural look.  As they take a little longer to fit and need to settle into the hair they should be fitted at least a week before the wedding.   As tape-ins are custom ordered, we’ll need a full consultation at least a fortnight out from the wedding to allow for the hair extensions to arrive.
